Hello! I'm Rohit, an independent IT strategist, consultant, and a software engineer with over 17 years of hands-on experience crafting technology solutions that actually work - for people, teams, and businesses.

My Journey

After completing my Master's in Science (Information Technology) in 2008, I began my career as a Software Engineer. Three years later, in 2012, I ventured into freelancing - a turning point that allowed me to grow into roles as a Hybrid/Full-stack Developer, Architect, and an IT Strategist and Consultant, a Single-Person Business. Over the past 15+ years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with clients across Australia, India, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, building systems designed to stand the test of time.

I don't do lock-ins. I believe in transparency, thoughtful architecture, and empowering my clients with the tools, knowledge, and clarity they need to move forward - even without me.

I specialize in Microsoft's .NET technologies, complemented by a diverse and versatile skill set across various domains (Check tags). My primary tech stack includes C#, MSSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I design and develop clean, maintainable applications with an eye for performance and adaptability. My proficiency spans across a myriad of frameworks, libraries, tools, and platforms, enabling me to craft tailored solutions that align perfectly with client needs. I have a deep understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices, which I apply to create scalable and efficient systems. I'm also well-versed in various software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.

Creative Pursuits

Beyond the tech world, I compose music, play bass and guitar, write lyrics, and I create melodies that resonate. I also enjoy dark and abstract photography, photo manipulation. And I dabble with vector graphics, especially when it blends with technical precision. I used to sketch quite a bit and I might on rare occasions now.
